February 5th 2024 -Vanguard

Feb 5th

So, it was a fun day today. I actually got out and did some visiting with friends! And I *pretty much pushed myself down to Vanguard! Except Evan was definitely there with me and helped me with the curb cutouts. So there’s that. I didn’t do it completely on my own, but a lot!

We chatted about this and that, and everyone thought the blog was cool! Which I was really stoked about. They all added some stickers to the wheelchair! The ‘91 Lumina I think is my favorite though. It’s just so bizarre and silly.

Having a day where I’m out and about, and not even in the presence of Callie, was really crazy. It’s weird to think sometimes that I’m my own person, but I am! I really gotta get out and move about a bit more! I’m glad the weather is kinda cooperating, so I can at least do that.

Therapy today was a good day! Talking to Norm the Crossing guard always makes me laugh, I will have to remember what we talk about for next time.

Trying to explain myself to everyone gets really wild, it’s cool tho to hear everyone’s different ideas on this experience though. Like, Ian had a really good experience on the Neuro feedback he did as a kid! It’s cool getting everyone’s experiences.
