September 24th 2023 – Wake Up!

Sept 24th

Well, it’s a Sunday, and I had the chance to get up and go earlier than I usually do, which has left me more comfortable than I have been in a bit.

Last night generated some of the most exciting movements and feelings in my legs to-date! These are still present and happening! I was trying last night to actually lift and move my legs, and they sure as shit are doing that!

When I put the pillow in between my knees, I could legitimately feel that in place! Which was crazy! I definitely had warmed up a bit too, most likely the condition of a post-tasty meal, post digestion, and general comfortableness. I had not even been awake for maybe a minute or two last night after my night time routine, and I fell asleep.

During the night, I had dreams of the family, and other dreams I’m not entirely recalling, except maybe where I was legitimately propping myself up to stand, but not in the luxury of being surrounded by PT?

So the feelings and sensations in my legs seem to grow and generate more intense waves over my body, with each passing day. The spasms and pulling in my abdomen has been replaced by the sensation that the abdomen is there, connected, and in fact in connection with my legs.

I can feel the abs leading into the hips and groin, which then also leads into the upper sections of my legs, followed by my knees and lower legs!

I had a long day up in the wheels yesterday, with close to probably 12~ hrs in the chair/car/chair/car/ chair? What is nice is I was just tired cuz it was a long night, and a great day at the park with mother, not from intense soreness or pain. I got to get her out to the park, walking around with me! And then Laura and I brought her to a place down in Detroit!

I was able to do like 20 modified “leg lifts” !!!

My legs are seriously responding the inputs of my brain! The glutes, the hip flexors, the quads, even the tibialis anterior are all moving together to get my legs to lift!!! It’s incredible!!

Also, the veins and blood flow to my feet is getting more significant than ever!

What’s wild, is my thumb nail shows the trauma of the accident. It’s got a weird growth line/ indentation, that seems to be prevalent on all my fingernails. I think this is also why my hair is shedding like no other right now too. Wild, what our body does to remind us of the trauma
